Description: A dark and gothic battleground inspired by the Underworld and Van Helsing movies( cant forget Tim Burton either). The main node link is in a straight linear path to each core. There is a countdown node (the Electrocution Node) on an "island" that you will have to ride moving suspension platforms to get to and from. There is a suspension platform near each core that takes you to the node. The center platform returns you to the main play area. The Electrocution Node has an energy disperser that when built and maintained for 60 seconds will overload the enemy core causing some damage.
Node linkage:
there are 2 node link setups. The default is mostly axon vehicle. ALL NECRIS node link setup is as the name says. All setups have the same node path.

has anyone else had issues with FPS in this map? I was only able to test it vs bots and I was getting 60fps (I dont have fps uncapped) with 19 bots. The next version I will have more aggresive occlusion.
thanks for the info..... ahh now I get to have fun trying to figure out if its a visual effect that causes the fps drop or too many triangles visable...
beta 2 up in first post. You guys gotta see the lightning FX now..... Rumple gave me an idea and it turned out kick ass....

just played with 24 bots.. average fps was like 70-80 and under heavy action was about 50-60 fps

final version up in first post..... Today was my last day that I could work on the map before my vacation and the submission deadline for MSUC phase 3... I think the map is in a worthy of final version state...enjoy..

Strange... when I added this map to the server, it started crashing. Removed it, no more crashing. I can play the map fine in instant action. I do not have to vote for the map for the server to crash.
I'll look into it more tomorrow.
thanks for the feedback... On the server crashing, does it say a package is missing or something? Did you add the config ini too?
I leave for vacation tomorrow morning, if there is still an issue with this map online I will definely try to figure it out when I get back...

Still not sure what is up... may just be a false alarm. I just saw that there's a huge Hurricane in the Carribean... hope it doesn't derail your vacation. Have fun!
Love this map just for the atmosphere and sound effects. You should borrow some music from Castlevania or resident evil. I did find it was hard to get on to the lifts/moving walkways. The camera would jerk a little and I fall off. Anyways I got a PS3 version working if you want it. Both link setups and everything works.

You will get black boxes galore. I have spend the last month trying to figure out why black boxes were messing up my cooks until I patched with patch 4.
I complained to epic a couple of times but then I figured it out myself.
