description: Dense forest is your battlefield. Second Edition of the original WAR-Infection Forest which placed 4th in the Make Something Unreal Contest phase 1/ Best Warfare Map category. I have learned alot since the original version and have made many changes from the original to the second edition version.


Featuring:
* speedboots pickup, credit ambershee.. (no idea why this mod doesnt work for noot/killa, it works fine here?)
* ONS 2.0 weapons are supported, obviously ![]()

yeah its much more "clean" than previous versions. I released the original WAR-Infection Forest 1 year and 2 months ago. I have learned a shit ton since then. In this new version there is no kismet controlled "node locks, aka infection tubes". The node link setup is straight forward:

I would say it is more WAR than ONS due to the linear node links. Hopefully it plays well since the only tests it got were vs bots and we know how retarded they are, except that they can snipe you from across the map when you cant even see them...

Haha, thanks for the advertisement though! I think this looks really promising Sanchez! I love all the changes I can see from this thread. I'm really looking forward to testing this out on Sunday! Good work!
i can only play offline at present...
having said that, i feel removing the fence around the core would speed up this map.
its very difficult to win this one against bots...
otherwise this map kicks ass, im wondering how it plays against human opponents? hmmmm
If I removed the structures from around the cores you would be able to hit the core from afar from many places in the map. Thanks for the suggestion but I dont think I want that. The center node will spawn a modded DarkWalker in any future version(s). I am making the DW move faster and am thinking about changing the second seat projectile/gun. I havent decided exactly what to do there yet. I've been pretty busy with RL things lately so I havent had much time to work on it. I do have an unfinished updated version with a few new things in it :)
