I'm gonna have to edit my Azeraw vid down, as it is currently 594MB large.  And my weekly allowance on web site is 500MB/week.  Gonna have to get some vid edit software and trim-it-down.  Oh well........

That was my favorite round of Sunday's practice when we linked up to take down and build up several nodes in a row before finally finishing off the core... it was just bam, bam, bam, it's over!

Spectator, Killinu's Vids & Pacer's upcoming Digital Recordings all really usher in a new era for our Group.  We finally have the ability to Record A Demo... PC guys have it Stock. I see 1 day a group of a few of the nasitiest clips edited into a Highlight Real. I smell a Flash intro.  That was Warhore's idea.  I have a nice utility that could help embedding media into our site MUCH easier. Let me know if any of you are interested. It's looking fine now to be honest...

Killinu, Email me and I'll setup a time to alleviate your storage, software & codec concerns. I can quickly solve your problems with some special FTP Credentials alone. You can grab the software from there & upload as much as you want.  We have 3 Quarters of a Terabyte of Space.  I also have some other locations on the Web. If we ever ACTUALLY needed more... I got the hookup. 6 more Dollars and we'll be up to 1.5Tb.  Get at me when you can.

should be called Oneroute, I'll post footage of our efforts to regain prime node in vain.  Died sooooo many times.  Once did we get to turn down the hall and shoot at prime, but never regained it .   Sure - may be more fun if you are on the other side.  But our hallway of death was painted red with the blood N guts of a hundred deaths.

I'm trying to acquire a new HD capture device for "evaluation purposes": the Hauppauge HD PVR High Definition Personal Video Recorder 1212. I think it may be a good value.

Damn that was prob. the worst performance I had that night, was on torlan. You all ripped it up while I was trying to get used to the speed and board, I don't know how many times I fell tryijng to do my normal stuff on the board just cus I was getting way more height than I'm used to with it. Nice practice, it was cool to play with most of the memebers and try out the new maps. I gotta admit I did get lost a few times and was trying my best to keep on the right path, and next time I'll try and have more of the maps that you all play. peace

Remix has paths out of the core rooms to the outside area, so you can't get pinned in in the same way. I will support 16 players easily enough whereas RedRoute gets a bit ridiculous with only 10.

btw if you play against bots on a pretty high skill level, they rely heavily on shock combos to get themselves out of that corridor of death situation.

You can get out of the corridor by stacking the stairs, let them all come in, kill them all at once if you can, most of them anyways, and you get enough time to get out of the corridor. This will only work once or twice. Playing 1v1 works great.

I've been looking around and I think the HAVA wireless HD, or the HAVA Titanium HD may be best suited for me overall.  It allows more capability/control over my HD satellite hard drive, as well as streaming tv to computers.  Still gonna keep looking around, and I've been tring to find something like this for awhile.

It should arrive in about a week.  Ended up costing total of $190.32.  Can't wait to test it out, it looks like it should do the job of recording ps3 in HD very nicely.  Unfortunately I'll have to downgrade my connection from HDMI to component video, from 1080P to 1080I, I know...woe is me.  It sucks to be spoiled.  The tv anywhere feature on this device is also quite cool.  Allowing me to stream my satellite/ps3 picture to any computer in the house as well as operating and viewing my home satellite on my laptop from anywhere in the world.  Moving on up from my rinky-dinky camera vids to the real deal, should look awesome.  Technically it should allow my live recordings of UT3 matches to be viewed online as well- you could invite others to view the website who don't have UT3 for PS3.  HootNHolla

Just uploaded Dome of Death played on 8.06.08, was a nuketastic game with lots of overkill/death.  For some reason it errored on the 99th percentile uploaded to vimeo.  It still plays fine but doesn't show a pic of the video before it is started.  

Set it up today, with minimal frustration, and recorded a quick match for testing.  Link can be found at the bottom of the main post up above.  Be sure to click the link below the video to view in HD.  I still need to tweak the video settings of the recorder to boost color, and reduce brightness settings.  But it looks pretty damn good.  And a drastic improvement over my old technique.  Out with the old, and into the new!!!!!

Looks great. Audio levels were a bit high though... lots of clipping and distortion when explosions would occur. Is there a volume control for PS3's audio output? How about on the capture device?

Here is the best action from our practice last night.  Not that I played all that well, but I decided to post something.  Captured a wierd glitch on Dragon's Fight where our orb appears ontop of my scorpion and I drive around with it for awhile.  Then it just disappears and reappears in the hands of my team-mate, who is far away from me.  Just a glitch I'm sure it was never really on my vehicle.  I also caught Ry's superman moves, looked pretty slick seeing him fly around like that.  He survived being run over by a tank after his superman spree ended!!!  Hella life I guess.  LOL.  Didn't even post any content from WAR-Teris, as it was over too quickly and all I did was die repeatedly.

I was in the process of editing out the embedded vid link, cause I just noticed it.  While I was in preview comment, right before saving it to post...It deletes everything I WROTE....happens often to me, and luckily I copy/pasted my text into MS word before hitting save, anticipating this could happen.

I get back in to edit it over.  And it locked out the option of edit now....grrrrrrrrrrrr. what the hell.  I always make a reply post as an "add new comment" option to the first post, being told this is the way to be able to edit further posts.  But it no worky for me.

I took the vid embed out of this post, because it was causing internet explorer to close down every time I tried to play it. The link above works, and all the other vids play in embed mode. Don't know why this one wasn't working right..

I figured out the deal with the video capture device. I thought it was recording HD, hence it's name "Wireless HD". It really transfers 720x480 resolution - widescreen dvd quality. - Not 1280x720 as I was writing the vids to, using video maker. It caused wierd color blooming and distorted image to the vid. I will now keep them in their native resolution of 720x480. Bummer.. oh well.. pfft. I was wondering why my original material looked sooo much better before editing, and when viewed in a smaller window.

Yeah let me know when ur ready and we will make a sick one. After we do that we can post it under the mod details and hopefully that will reel some people into playing it more often. While we are recording we should demonstrate each of the mods and label them in the video that way people understand them more thoroughly. It would look kinda cool too.
