changes from stock version:
1. removed the ability to drive tank over scorpions up on to platform at prime nodes.
2. you cannot get behind the core. The blocking volumes I placed to stop this do interfere with the direct hit of a redeemer rocket but the damage still registers.
3. added shock rifle to primary node(s) weapon lockers.
4. added extra entrance to primary node building(s):

5. reduced desaturation of post processing: IMO the map looks better. Not a necessary fix but why not...
6. added ONS2 node link setup with support for extra weapons that ONS2 adds. <-----not comp related but it comes at no extra cost.

These fixes should help this map immensely. I've always hated this map the most out of all stock war maps. But I seem to be a minority. It gets voted constantly
I dont really like this map either but without the bugs that Epic refuses to acknowledge it should play better.

1. I like the new entrance in the primes!! A new twist to entering and leaving primes.
2. I like the new color to it now!
3. I really don't like the pillars in the primes now. Is there another way you can block vehicles from getting up there?
4. Is there a blur added to the map? It was bugging my eyes when i would be driving straight in a scorpion while looking in another direction. It was almost like a blur, maybe it is always there and i am just noticing it now Lol.

there is a tank blocking volume there also BUT you can also get a hellbender up there which a tank blocking volume wont stop. I could remove the pillars but would need something else there to stop a bender.

I actually made this map quite awhile ago and may have changed the post processing volume all together, I dont remember. The DOF blur could be easily toned down..

view is from the center node: where the greenish yellow lines are I made that ramp angle down to street level, in stock you needed jump boots to get up there. At the end is a sniper rifle pickup. I did this to both sides. I will keep this in the ONS 2 setup and it can be decided if its wanted in the comp setup.

I know snipers like to sneak up there ( Like Mint Gina and others ).
Not sure if they would like an easy access to it or not, i never go up there so i can't give an opinion on it.

Sorry guys, I've poured too many hours into trying to make UT3 better, I cant do it anymore.... I'm going to make 1 ONS map for 2k4 and see how the response is. Other than that I am back playing 2k4 waiting for some new cool game to come out that can replace 2k4.

No replacement for UT3 yet! I find myself getting back into it some, and I'm glad to still see you haunting UT3 as well Sanchez. I heard you were going to tweak this map a little more for the FN ladder. I love all the changes you've made so far, and I just had one point/request. On rare occasions, pulling the tank out of the garage you bump a kill volume and bam the tank is dead. I was hoping you could move that volume a smidgen.

No replacement for UT3 yet!
Nope, Huxley definetly isnt it...... I'm beginning to think the only proper replacement for UT3 will be UT4. Actually I like where UT3 is at right now, other than the lack of online players. This game has just about everything I want in its current state so I guess I have found contentness.
I will look into the kill volumes in DT that you mentioned and adjust them :)

I will add this to the list for the party this weekend. Some T5k guys will be there so this would be a good chance to test this version out and get feedback on what we all want for comp play...
